Here's a picture of Quantum Duck getting ready for a dip in the local watering hole. He does not yet realize that he is so bouyant that he cannot break the surface tension of water.

Here Quantum Duck wait patiently for his plane to take off. I drew this while waiting at LAX for Aurora to return from a trip to visit her folks. Quantum Duck has never actually been on a plane, but he tells me that he finds the idea very relaxing. He would not be frightened to fly since he comes from a planet with no well developed sense of gravity.

This was one of the first drawings of the new character designs for QD and Laura. As you can see, QD has some more evolving to do at this stage. Laura has also been given some minor changes.
